Every day on my way to work I see animals that do not have adequate shelter.

Any animal should have a some kind of shelter from rain, snow and sun.

Please do not leave any pillows or blankets in the dog house. Pillows and blankets get wet due to rain and snow and soak up a lot of water. Your dogs body heat will not be able to dry it all up if it keeps on raining. Best solution is straw. Bale of strawis only $5 and 1/2 a bale is usually enough for 1 dog. Pillows and blankets are a good breeding ground for Fleas.

If you have an outdoor dog and the flea prevention medication is to expensive use organic Diatomaceous Earth (DE). Please make sure it is organic or food grade. Diatomaceous Earth that is not food grade or organic is used for pools and will harm your pet!
